Patroklos (Pat) has been a software engineer for more than 25 years – he’s passionate about code quality and system perfection and keeping things simple. He’s a book author and occasional speaker, the founder of the Java Meetup in Thessaloniki, and the main organizer of Voxxed Thessaloniki and Devoxx Greece since 2016.

Thomas Pliakas is a senior passionate Java software engineer, where he likes to work in performance improvements in each phase of the project life cycle. He has primarily been working on architecture, development, and tuning low latency and high throughput telco products. He is also a co-organizer of Java Hellenic User Groups (jhug) meetups.
Foivos (Feevos) is a Software Engineer on Red Hat’s Java platform team, where his work focuses on Mandrel, GraalVM, and Quarkus. Before joining Red Hat, he spent 9.5 years as a post-graduate and post-doctoral researcher. At the University of Manchester, he led the development of the Maxine VM, a metacircular Java VM. At FORTH-ICS, he worked on the GreenVM project, resulting in the creation of DiSquawk, a JVM for non-cache-coherent architectures. Additionally, he developed SCOOP, a source-to-source compiler for optimized task-based runtime systems, and made contributions to the TPC, BDDT, and PARTEE task-based runtime systems.
